In Fall 2008, South Shore Dance moved to a new space in a building that inspires the arts and creativity. The Old Miller School, a classic brick school house built in 1910, located at 665 South Lake Street in Gary's Miller neighborhood, is literally walking distance from the Miller South Shore Station making it very accessible from Chicago to South Bend (for train schedules, go to http://www.nictd.com/). It houses three completed new studio spaces including our nearly 2,000 square foot studio/performance space which is now open for classes. The Old Miller School was built in 1910. South Shore Dance company performance images line the upper floor windows across the area that is the largest of three studios and also serves as a performance venue for dance and other arts programming.

Dream big? Dance big? Not a problem....two classrooms have combined into one large 1900+ sf studio which can also be used for "in studio" performances and events (above are the "before" pix). THIS FANTASTIC STUDIO SPACE IS NOW OPEN (see below). Come experience this fabulous dance space!
